Profile

Graeme is a retired Senior Lecturer in scientific pathology, Dept of Molecular Medicine and Pathology, and Honorary Senior Research Fellow, Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre, in the University of Auckland.
He has a MSc (First Class Honours) and PhD in Cell Biology (UoA), and a BTh cum laude (NT and Theological Ethics, University of South Africa).
Publications include contributions to approximately 100 articles on anti-cancer drug development and (more recently) cancer cell biology, including genetics. He has written also on the theology-science interface. His books are Human Evolution: Genes, Genealogies and Phylogenies (CUP, 2013) and The Gospel According to Dawkins (Austin-McCauley, 2017).
He is  a Fellow of the International Society of Science and Religion.
Graeme is married to Jean, a musician, and they have a married daughter (with a post-graduate diploma in library management), and a son (a church organist, and post-doc in biomedical science in the UK).
