Dr Nicola Hoggard Creegan, Director of NZ Christians in Science is a leading voice at the intersection of science and faith. She studied mathematics and biology at VUW before gaining a doctorate in theology. She specialises in the interface between evolutionary theory and systematic theology, and her book Animal Suffering and the Problem of Evil (Oxford University Press, 2013) examined theodicy in light of the long aeons of animal suffering before humans arrived. Nicola is a Fellow of the International Society for Science and Religion.
